So here we are July 6th driving to the doctor AGAIN,,,,13 years of trying everything under the sun for my hormone replacement. Today I get my blood work results and my FIRST insertion of the pellets. So anxious So excited So nervous So hopeful .......
Anyways we talked with Dr.Tutera in his office going over my blood results and what each individual hormone does in your body and how important they are. Ive done a TON of reading on all this for years and it was so nice to actually hear a Dr. agree with me. It was also nice to confirm my knowledge.
After going over my blood work and questions I went to another room where Dr. Null
(Dr.Tutera's partner) came in, gave me a shot to numb the area right above my hip. He had me lay on my side and made a little cut, put like a straw in the incision, poured the pellets (3) in through the straw and they slid down, then he removed the straw and taped me up,,,,,,that simple,, seriously no biggie at all...

nothing to drastic, I'm thinking some things might be improving (sleeping, energy)but then we had So much going on in our life at that time it was hard to tell...

can definitely see a difference just in my over all mood, i feel like my skin is becoming more plump, not by weight gain just an overall smoothness.
So When I first saw Dr. Tutera and he ran all my blood work, my estrogen didn't even register, and I had been taking ESTRODIOL 2mg once a day for the past 2 years, So come time to re-test my blood work (Aug 9), I was SO excited to see how my body absorbed it or didn't ,,,, Cuz blood test don't lie,,, So I did the test, now wait to hear from SOTTOPELLE...........
A few days later Dr.Tutera called me that's right I said the DOCTOR can you believe that? He said my Testosterone was perfect, but my estrogen was only 52, now that sounded good to me considering it was ZERO last time. He recommended me to come in just for a couple more estrogen pellets.
I can definitely tell a difference in my life like no other method I have tried,,,and I even have more to look for after I get these next pellets....
I was told by friends and read a ton about this before I decided to go with it and in some cases it does take a while for your body to get where it needs to be,,,I mean if you think ,, get the pellets and I should feel fine tomorrow, there is no magic pill or cream but this makes perfect sense,,,,I am very optimistic in my next visit, I go to Scottsdale September 8th for my estrogen boost (power pellets =), I will try and do a better job of posting more details, but if anyone has question please ask.
